How Do I Buy A Stock?

In order to purchase a stock, you need to have brokerage account. A brokerage account allows you to buy and sell stock. Some examples include Fidelity, Robinhood, TD Ameritrade, E*Trade, etc.

It is very simple to open one of these accounts. Go to the brokers website, click on open an account and fill out the information they request. By the way, they are regulated by the state and country, so it is safe to give them personal information.

Once you have an account, you can buy and sell stock from their platform. Each platform is slightly different, but all order types function the same way.

  • Buy Market - Buys a stock at the current stock price that is shown
  • Buy Limit - Buys a stock when it hits a price you chose
  • Sell Market - Sells a stock at the current stock price that is shown
  • Sell Limit - Sells a stock when it hits a price you chose

The Impeccable Investor Software currently doesn't support buying and selling stocks directly from our platform. It is something we are considering, but nothing that will be implemented any time soon for legal reasons.
